RIVERSIDE CAMPSITE     We are situated right in the heart of Hadrians wall. The riverside campsite is a small tranquil site which offers accommodation for walkers after a long day. We are based actually on the trail of the wall at Chollerford.     We do not allow cars onto the site and is open for walkers and cyclists only. Walking groups are very welcome but must be pre booked. Dogs are also welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times and any mess must be picked up. The campsite offers a shower block which includes: 2 showers, 3 toilets, washing up sink and outside tap. Chesters Roman fort is 0.5 miles up the road from us there is also a local pub in Humshaugh which serves traditional meals from a Wednesday to Saturday night. Please report to the tearooms or the Garage when you get here and a member of the team will direct you to the site. Please note that we only accept cash we do not have any card facilities. To book please email Tony or call any member of our team       Riverside tearooms We also have a tearoom which is located next door to the campsite and is also in the heart of Hadrian’s Wall country. Here we offer a wide variety of hot & cold sandwiches, homemade pies and quiches along with those all-important home-made scones and cakes. At the Riverside Tearooms you can sit and relax with a coffee, have a bite to eat or maybe take a sandwich to go the choice is yours. Coach groups are welcome but by appointment only.
